🔧 How Frostbourn Works

1. Find the Right Provider

Streamers browse providers using tags that match what they need — art, rigging, overlays, editing, and more.

Each provider card shows pricing, skills, and calendar availability.

2. Request a Slot

Streamers pick an available time slot on the provider’s calendar.

If the provider approves, both sides get a private message thread to discuss project details.

3. Start the Commission

When the streamer is ready, they click Commission Provider.

For projects under $100, payment is sent in full through PayPal or Stripe.
For larger projects, streamers pay only the first milestone upfront through Stripe.

No one starts work without confirmed payment authorization.

4. Deliver Work & Approve Milestones

Providers submit progress at each milestone.

Streamers review the work and click Approve to release payment (minus payment processor + platform fees).

Milestones continue until the project is complete.

5. Review & Access Everything Anytime

Once a commission is closed, both streamers and providers can revisit it from their dashboards:

🛡️ Anti‑Chargeback & Anti‑Ghosting Protection

Frostbourn is designed to protect both streamers and providers from the two biggest risks in the creator economy: chargebacks and ghosting. Our structured payment flow ensures that money only moves when work is delivered — and nobody gets left behind.

Protection Against Chargebacks

Payments are held securely until the streamer approves a milestone or final delivery.
Once a milestone is approved, the payment is final and released to the provider.
For small projects paid upfront (under $100), funds are only released after verified delivery confirmation.
This prevents the “I did the work and they charged me back” nightmare that creators deal with on other platforms.

Protection Against Ghosting

Streamers never pay for work they don’t receive — progress must be submitted and approved before any release of funds.
Providers never begin work without a confirmed payment authorization, eliminating unpaid labor.
If either party becomes unresponsive, the commission is automatically paused, and no funds move until communication resumes.
Frostbourn’s site admin and moderation team can step in as a neutral point of contact to help re‑establish communication and keep the project moving.
Milestones keep both sides accountable, step‑by‑step, so nobody disappears mid‑project.
